Fibergrate has received written approval from AAR for use of the specified products in accordance with Field Manual Rule 53 as dome platform and running boards.

In the voluntary Type Approval Program, ABS certifies that enrolled manufacturers around the world are capable of consistently producing a product in compliance with product specifications. Each product is tested extensively to verify that it will perform reliably in the marine and offshore environment.

• Safe-T-Span® I6015P Phenolic (Certificate Number: 23-2442612-PDA)

CFIA has reviewed Fibergrate materials and found them acceptable for installations in federally registered food establishments. Fibergrate Moulded Grating, Rigidex Moltruded Grating, Safe-T-Span Pultruded Industrial and Pedestrian Grating, Dynarail Handrail, Dynarail Safety Ladder Systems, Dynaform Structural Shapes, Chemplate, Fiberplate and EZ Angle Embedment Angles.

General Approval for Fibergrate GRP RF Panel Enclosure System for rooftop communication antenna screening using Dynaform Structural Shapes, Fiberplate and GRP Hardware.

DNV certificates contain information about products and manufacturers found to comply with international standards, regulations and the DNV rules.

The latest Quality Management System Standard established by the International organisation for Standardisation (ISO). According to ISO, the new standard reflects stricter requirements for "meeting customer expectations and using a process approach to quality management." Fibergrate's Certification to Standard 61 means that select products have been screened and tested to ensure that the GRP components do not leach any unwanted components into drinking water they would be exposed to.

The Coast Guard has established approval categories for structural fire protection materials to permit materials to be approved in accordance with the test procedures of the International Maritime organisation (IMO). This standard has been replaced by the ASTM F3059 (see section below). 

Title 46 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) requires certain portions of U.S. flag commercial vessels to be constructed of Coast Guard approved materials.

• Safe-T-Span® I6015 Phenolic Grating rated for L2 performance criteria

The ASTM F3059 standard requires GRP gratings designed and used in the marine and shipbuilding industry to be appropriately tested to ensure worker safety.  Phenolic resin is typically used in those environments with strict structural fire integrity requirements.

• Firewalk™ Phenolic Pultruded Grating

Fibergrate FGI-AM® resin flooring products are formulated and manufactured to meet USDA acceptance. These products are manufactured to be used for repeated use in contact with food. The USDA no longer issues letters of approval for flooring products on a case-by-case basis. To reduce problems associated with government audits and long-term liabilities, Fibergrate has maintained its compliance status.
